Shanghai Suzhou

In just 30 years, China has risen from long-standing povety to the second largest economy in the world. Shanghai is the largest city by population in the People’s Republic of Chin (PRC). It is a city that can be seen in the commercial, culture, finance, media, fashion scene, technology and transport.

In Suzhou, it is a major city in the southeast of Jiangsu Province in Eastern China and they are considered one of the richest major cities in China. The city’s cana;s, stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulous designed gardens have contributed to its status as one of the top tourist attactions in China. Also, Suzhou has been an important centre for China’s silk industry since the Song Dynasty.

Yiwu

Yiwu is located 100km south of the city of Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province. According to a special report by the United Nations, Yiwu is mentioned as the world’s largest mart for small commodities.

The largest wholesale factory market in YI WU, the International Trade Centre, contains about 50,000 shops. It comprises of 5 district that are made of a 4-storey high building. Shops are organized into section that offers the same type of product such as scarfs, shoes, household items etc.

To visit every shop in the Trade Centre, it will take more than 5 months to complete (Based on 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, and spending aprox. 1 minute in each shop).
